Porsche Tires

New tires. New level of performance.

The engine is an essential part of your Porsche vehicle's dynamic sports-car performance. However, the tires play an essential role, too. After all, they are the only part of your Porsche vehicle in direct contact with the road. Porsche N-spec tires determine all aspects of driving performance, including steering, braking, cornering, road handling, and more. The right tires vary according to the Porsche model, and N-spec tires are only installed at the factory on Porsche vehicles. The wrong, non-approved choice could negatively impact performance, handling, and safety. Ask your personal service advisor for the information you need on the latest Porsche-approved N-rated tires, and why you should never fit any others to your Porsche.

Summer Tires

Manufactured with a special rubber compound designed to perform at high temperatures along with a tread pattern optimized for summer roads, offering better grip, greater cornering ability and shorter braking distances.

Winter Tires

Tires that provide driving confidence in cold weather conditions thanks to their rubber composition that does not harden in lower temperatures in addition to a tread pattern designed to deflect water, provide optimum lateral support and pick up snow for added grip.

Sport Tires

Designed to be used in high-speed environments providing instantaneous response to driving input at speeds up to 186 mph.

All-Season Tires

A convenient tire option that provides the perfect compromise between grip, handling, and stability in both cold and warm driving conditions.

Porsche N-Marked Tires

Every Porsche is equipped with tires that are the product of many years of collaborating with the leading tire manufacturers. Jointly developed alongside each model to meet their special performance requirements, Porsche-approved tires are manufactured by some of the leading tire manufacturers in the industry. As a way of designating the thorough amount of testing and an official approval by Porsche, each tire is given an N-rating (the letter stands for "Nürburgring" where the tires are tested) and is noted on the tire sidewall. Following the N, a second letter indicates the model line. Further details can be found in each tire's technical data. For example, the Porsche 992 tire will be marked NA, indicating it is:

  • N – approved by Porsche
  • A – developed for the Porsche 992

Porsche N-rated tires differ from others primarily in terms of geometry, rubber composition and testing methods.

  1. Handling and driving comfort
  2. Braking performance and service life
  3. Rolling resistance and high-speed performance

During development, tire geometry and rubber composition are tailored to Porsche vehicles. The N-spec tires are designed for specific Porsche models to synchronize with their brakes, weights, and physics, which influence acceleration, shifting, corning, and handling. Whether all-season, summer, winter or sport, Porsche N-rated tires provide excellent driving stability and maximum driving pleasure.
